The Good, the Bad, and the Daddy.

"Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?"
Matthew 7:9-11

Sweet potato, sharp new knife, cutting board.

 My clutzy hand.

Well-worn band aid box that is...

 empty.
Well, mostly empty.

Gauze and scotch tape: very sad attempt at making do.

A Dad who lives 20 minutes away but
never stops being a Daddy.

A thankful daughter and a much more pampered finger.

( Jewelry give-away entry ends at noon today.  I will do a random drawing and then announce a winner later today.)

  1. Poor Daddy,, he needs to just keep a medical kit with him at ALL times when we're around! We'd have a whopping medical bill if it weren't for him while at Shiloh!! So thankful for a WONDERFUL father,, we're so blessed!!!

  2. Yes, he is always the caring medic! Funny thing was, I didn't even tell him I needed band aids. He just showed up with them and when I asked, "How did you know I needed these?" He answered, "I knew you'd need some special ones to stay on and not pull the skin when you take them off to change them." He's so thoughtful!
And yet, the wonderful thing is, that whether we have a wonderful father on earth or not, we are blessed by a God that cares for us even more! So amazing!
