360 Degree Gardens-in-Progress View

is having a 360 degree view party.

I was hesitant to enter it
because my gardens are not ready yet.

My plant sale is in two weeks
and then my gardens will be mulched and beautiful,
but until then,
they are in a constant state of work.

But I thought it would be fun to do
and then take pictures when they are beautiful
(hopefully, they WILL get that way!)

And while I'm spinning around
I'll tell you what I'm
"loving"
about it
for
What I'm Loving Wednesday.

So, here it goes
a 360 degree view of the yard:
I'm loving the warm sunshine coming through the dappled shade.

and my prized collection of hostas and peonies,
popping through the ground

I'm loving working the ground while the kids
"work" making "blueberry pies" with the clean new sand in the sand box.

I'm loving the freshly tilled garden with the hopes of brocolli and cabbage
growing there
and the bright green pasture with the donkey
happily munching on it's lush offerings.

How could I not love a barn full of black and white cows
and field beyond for them?

I love that the original house built before 1850
still stands in great shape in its tiny quaintness and
houses a very good tenant.

It is nice to have somebody reasonably close by,
even in the country.

 I'm loving this old smokehouse
that holds the shovels and pruners that are in high demand right now;

And my potting shed next to the house.
I'm not sure what I did before I had that potting shed!
My love for it is unquestionable!

Thanks for taking a tour with me
of the yard where I live
and the pieces that I love.

"O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good:
for His mercy endureth for ever.
To Him that by wisdom made the heavens:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
To Him that stretched out the earth above the waters:
for his mercy endureth for ever."
Psalm 136: 1, 5, 6

  8. That's it I'm moving to the country! Your garden is lovely, so much open space and not 'landscaped' I mean that in a totally good way, please don't be offended! When I was little we weren't allowed to play in my grandparents garden as it was a 'show garden' but yours looks perfect for kiddies to have fun in! Thanks for the tour
