$20 And A Yard Sale

 Do you like yard sales?

I do.

Here's why:

I spent $20 at Walmart a week or so ago for this:

Swimming Vest for my son Levi

I spent $20 at a yard sale yesterday for this:

Swimming Vests for Levi
and Lillie

and some shoes...

good brands...

barely worn...

(this pair also,
that needed to be worn right away)...

and some dresses for Lillie...

Thanksgiving dress...

more dresses with leggings...

and outfits, too....

cute shirts
(nothing stained or torn in any of the clothes)...

and some fun books and videos

socks for Levi...

short-sleeved shirts with sharks
and bugs
for Levi,
of course...

and some long sleeved ones...

a Christmas gift for one of the girls
to be stored in the attic...

and some fun new toys for hours of summer play...

Looks like I'll be making a return to Walmart.

  8. I love yard sale finds! My husband and I go every Saturday! I always call it being environmentally responsible, too. Secretly, though, I think it's the fun of the hunt!

  11. Thanks for your fun comments!! I have to admit, it was an unusually great yard sale: I hit lots of yardsales that don't have what I need, or the opposite: too much of what I already have - JUNK! :)

  12. Wow! Great job at the yard sale, I love finding things I actually NEED at those sales! Yep, usually they just have a bunch of junk I don't need!

I love making up a list of what I need when I go to garage sales, it can help keep me from getting distracted.
