Popping.


A cold winter night and a woodstove.

A pot with lid.

Memories of mother standing in front of the stove,
her red-and-white-checkered-wall-papered kitchen;
that funny little twist.

Coconut oil dropped by excessive tablespoons.

A finger-lick of salt.






Popcorn.
