Heading over to the Graphic Fairy's blog,
I found a sweet pumpkin graphic.
After cutting it out to fit my project,
I dabbed some brown ink in the white areas
to make it look aged.
It was placed in the glass lid
with a piece of clear plastic to protect it.
Some Persimmon branches replaced the old flowers.
A little bottle of picked Mum flowers
and a ceramic pumpkin are added next to the old bread box
for some color...
...and on top of it,
a mixture of artificial bittersweet,
wooden painted acorns,
and beautiful fall leaves from my Japanese Lantern tree.
Aren't the colors of fall so cheerful?
Thanks for stopping by my kitchen today.

Fall colors are my absolutely favorite - I took my old cowboy boots and nailed them to the fence, and filled them with sunflowers - only the cows and cowboys will get to look at them, but I bet they like that kind of stuff too ;)~!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I just love everything about the fall: the breathtaking colors, the chill in the air, the smells (crockpots simmering, roasted marshmallows, woodburning stoves....) You have such a talent in your decorating skills! :-) Hope you and your family have a great weekend. Many blessings!
